VeinLite

Veinlite Advanced Transilluminators for Vein Imaging

Sometimes you just get lucky when you attempt an IV. But often the vein is difficult to  feel and virtually impossible to see; you take a stab at it, without success. Now there's good news on the IV front: The Veinlite LED may end these guessing-game attempts to find difficult veins on patients.

Veinlite can be used for venous access in Pediatrics, Neonatal, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and Oncology. Unsurpassed imaging of veins anywhere on the body.

The Veinlite LED uses a new method of transillumination, side-transillumination, for enhanced visualization of veins. This method uniformly transilluminates a small region of the skin so that much better imaging of veins is achieved without shadows. Uniform side transillumination means that smaller veins can be seen with great clarity. Side-transillumination also allows for penetration of light into tissue for vein imaging up to 6 mm in depth, depending on the size of the vein. Disposable covers are available to protect it from any biohazardous materials.

Veinlite Fibre Optic

The fiberoptic Veinlite has unsurpassed brightness and imaging depth for vein imaging. It has 150 watts of power and a large ring for best imaging of veins. It can be used in clinical departments for use with really hard-to-find veins in patients.

The Veinlite comprises a halogen light source, a high-quality fibre optic cable, and a patented ring illuminator for side-transillumination. The light source uses a 150 watts halogen bulb and has a potentiometer allowing you to adjust to the desired illumination intensity. The halogen light is channelled through a flexible fibre optic guide to the specially designed light ring where it is directed into the skin with minimal light loss.
